About NESTPILOT LLC

NESTPILOT LLC is an agentic software company for small businesses and professional practices, based in Lake Mary, Florida. We build AI systems that carry real workflows — client intake, document handling, follow-up, filing-season operations — with the domain expertise encoded and a named human gate on every consequential step.

Why we build this way

Raw AI capability is a commodity. It gets cheaper and more capable every few months whether we contribute anything or not, and no small company should stake its future on being marginally better at the part the large labs give away.

What stays scarce, in work that actually matters, is being able to trust the result — and trust is not horizontal. It is specific to a domain, and it is usually mediated by someone whose reputation is on the line. So that is the layer we build: the expertise, the review architecture, the audit trail, and the reach into whatever channel the work already arrives in.

That is what the company tagline means. Not that AI can do anything, but that it can be made worthy of the things that matter.

Three ways we work

• Workshops. Vendor-neutral education for small businesses, delivered with community organizations under the SMB AI Adoption Program. Businesses map one real workflow and leave with a 30-day experiment — and sometimes with the conclusion that AI is the wrong tool for it.
• Applied AI services. A readiness assessment, then a measured pilot, then a custom build if one is warranted. Every assessment ends in one of five decisions, two of which mean you should not hire us for the build.
• Products. Tax Aide (税务管家) for CPA practices, and NestPilot Retirement for households, advisors, and community organizations. They run on one platform, which is why the second cost a fraction of the first.

How we make money

From the software and the work — never from your decisions. We do not sell financial products, take vendor commissions, or earn referral spreads, which is what lets "buy this instead" and "do not build this" be honest recommendations rather than lost revenue.

Revenue comes from product subscriptions, scoped service engagements, and host- or sponsor-funded education delivery.

Where we will and will not go

We do not enter a domain without a named expert partner in it whose reputation is downstream of what the system produces. A general-purpose AI tool with no expert behind it is a demonstration; encoded expertise with someone accountable for it is a product. This is a deliberate brake on how fast we expand, and it is the reason we are in two domains rather than six.

Likewise, NestPilot is not investment advice — not a portfolio manager, robo-advisor, or security-selection tool — and not a lead-generation front end for insurance or annuity sales.

How we talk about results

Worked examples built on synthetic or our own data are labelled demonstrations, on the artifact itself, and carry no outcome figures. A client result is published only when that organization has accepted the rollout and approved the wording in writing; removing the name does not remove the need to ask.

The visible consequence is that we have no published case studies yet. We would rather you noticed that than discovered later that a number on this site was decorative.

The Foundation/LLC tandem

NESTPILOT LLC operates alongside NestPilot Foundation (501(c)(3)). The two entities have separate governance, separate finances, and a documented IP boundary:

• NESTPILOT LLC owns the proprietary planning software, the advisor and practice features, and the commercial revenue paths (this site).
• NestPilot Foundation licenses the core retirement-planning logic royalty-free for non-commercial educational use, and operates the free public tools, community seminars, and research at nestpilot.org.

The Foundation receives no revenue from the LLC and does not promote LLC products.
